Travel information

By Car: From the North or South of Siena: - Take the Aquacalda exit from the Siena ring road (Tangenziale). - At the roundabout, take the first exit along a tree lined road (Via R.Da Capua) which leads in an upwards direction. - At the end of this road, at the stop sign signalling the junction with Via Dante, turn right and proceed along via Dante as far as the junction with Via Petriccio e Belriguardo. - Here, at the point in which you find the sign indicating ‘Montalbuccio’ and ‘Castello di Belcaro’, turn right. - After a few metres you will cross an old bridge (here cars must transit one at a time), and continue downhill, passing under a flyover. - 150 metres up the hill, you will come across the sign for the Pettirosso, in the vicinity of 2 old cypress trees: a further 100 metres and you arrive at the Pettirosso.
